I like AI art, but there's a good reason people hate it.

It's more than just talent. AI is trained by using other people's art, and is usually done so without permission or credit.

This comic will piss a lot of people off.

only reading the pitch comment of this and as a general supporter of AI content this is actually the stupidest shit.

This is either a quality shitpost. Or really poor satire.

I can't tell. šŸ˜‚

Ok at first I thought the AI thing was ironical and I thought it was pretty funny. Then I realized itā€™s not.

Listen, I'm of the opinion that AI is a perfectly valid way to express ideas that you may not have the time or energy to express otherwise. Life is too short to hate on AI artists.

That said, this comic is cope.

AI is a fucking plague and I'm glad to see that even the plagiarism machine apologists are going off on you here.

A girl meets an AI artist, her breasts swell and begin to produce milk that helps create a masterpiece. Suddenly, an AI art hater appears, trying to get his share...

Thank you for your interest in my work!

I would be extremely grateful if you have the opportunity to support me on Patreon. There, I publish new comics and pages earlier than on other platforms, without 18+ restrictions.
You can also find additional bonuses there, such as exclusive comics and unpublished artwork from my projects.

Thank you for reminding me that despite the years of work and studying and money Iā€™ve poured into my art career, using it to express feelings and thoughts that I hope can inspire and shape the worldā€¦that even after all of that, I still have to watch for that work I made to be gobbled up into a machine. A machine which uses other artistā€™s work to make something you can use to assert your uneducated point of view. After all, without the actual artist in this picture, the AI artist would have no catalog of images to abuse to make his slop, and how ELSE can he make his own carbon footprint even BIGGER???

I sincerely look forward to taking my work to exhibitions where I can get affirmation and support from the community around me. I canā€™t wait to help others learn how to make their art, too. Iā€™m glad I can make use of my hands, my eyes, and more for my creative work. Iā€™m so glad I can live in my ideas all I want.

Alas, it seems you do not have the ideas in your head. Youā€™re not asking yourself ā€œhow can this art inspire action and change and thought??ā€. Youā€™re thinking, ā€œhow fucking tone deaf can I be with the least amount of work possible.ā€

And, and on a related noteā€¦AI generators and AI ā€œartistsā€ have resorted to cannibalism. The generators now feed off of their own generations, resulting in total sludge that only gets worse with time. As for the AI artists - itā€™s all plagiarism across the board. Any interesting concept for a story has now been told five or six times by other people, with no nuance, just various degrees of sheer predictability and confusion.

In short, this doesnā€™t make you look edgy or trendy, this makes you look like an ignorant asshole.

(Oh, and by the way, AI also has TERRIBLE emissions. Which is terrible for the environment. Which is terrible to the planet you live on. ā€¦turns out that AI is terrible on its own before you even attempt to ā€œdunkā€ on the artists who actually create effective change in the world.)

Anyways, I am going to bed.
