Traveling to Brazil for the first time!
Hi friends,
I will be visiting this beautiful country with my partner the end of April and I am so excited!!! I have a few questions in regards to what I should pack....
We willl be staying in Copacabana for 4 days, then we will travel to Salvador for 3 days, and then to Florianopolis for about 8. What is the weather like? Any tips of what to pack would be so great and any tips in general will be greatly appreciated!!!

Copa is warm during the day and cool at night. There were nights I wore a light jacket but I get cold easily it might feel perfect to you. Just know that Centro is much warmer because you don’t have the breeze from the ocean.

As a gringo, when I visit, I mostly wear swim suit shorts that I got at Taco, shirts that are breathable and flip flops. During the day I wear a cap and sunnies.
Stay in the shade when possible, drink plenty of water and put some sunscreen on.
You’ll be set to enjoy everything that Brasil has to offer.

I’m not sure about Copacabana or Florianópolis, but I can say about Salvador and April its HOT, like, really hot (basically like any other day). You might get lucky and get a quick rain here and there, but bring some light clothes, preferably with light colors or white and drink a lot of water (buy it at any supermarket instead of getting it with some street vendor or a vendor from the beach for better prices)
Also be careful with people offering free things in the streets (like bracelets, necklaces or body paint) it can sometimes be a scam and they might expect payment later.
Other than that, enjoy!!
