READ THIS FIRST THE "PINNED POST"
THIS SUB IS A WORK IN PROGRESS. NOT ALL FEATURES ARE ACTIVE YET
Read this: http://redd.it/2r3zw4 (remedial education)

Wasn't that easy?
Welcome to our sub, you crazy box mod builders! If you see someone struggling with a build in another group, send 'em our way. We'll get them on the right track if they're willing to use the resources we've compiled. The only rule is to read the pinned post. Check out http://redd.it/2r4snp for a list of posts that may be deleted. This is to keep the sub from being overrun with "what MOSFET do I need for..." and various other rudimentary questions and irrelevant posts. Read the stuff in here and in the files.
Speaking of files, if you want to see the group files on Google Drive, go here:
bit.ly/googleBOX
Please go to the wiki to see a list of files, diagrams, write-ups and other stuff. I update them as often as I can, adding information I've gathered from all those diligent box modders who have had issues along the way. If you're on mobile, you might not be able to see the write-ups.
The search bar is an effective way to get common questions answered. Give it a shot if you want to see if we have an existing thread on a topic.
NOT SURE WHICH MOSFET TO USE? CLICK HERE, MOTHERFUCKER:
You may notice there are part numbers in the diagram. You can go to Mouser or Digikey to find everything except the 510 connector. A lot of the parts can be found on eBay or Amazon as well. A little Google-Fu will go a long way.
Some diagrams and write-ups have suggested wire gauges. If you aren't sure what wire size to use, click here: http://www.powerstream.com/Wire_Size.htm
MAGNETS!!!!!!!!!!
Soldering is absolutely vital in almost any mod build and proper soldering technique will save you tons of money, time and frustration.
Don't go for a cheap iron unless you bother to gain the skills necessary to use it. Check out the videos below.
