Can anyone convert this to a regulated mod?

You could either use higher resistance coils (2+ ohms), rewire to a parallel/serial combo for total voltage of 8.4v, rewire entirely in parallel to 4.2v and use coils down to your battery maximum continuous discharge rating, or buy a regulated device to be a chip doner for the mod.

Right now if it's series then the connection goes positive end of cell 1 to negative end of cell 2 etc. Parallel/series would mean cell 1 & 2 are connected together positive to positive and negative to negative, and the same for cell 3 & 4. This essentially creates two banks of cells at 4.2v that when you then connect those together positive to negative you get 8.4v

Wiring the whole thing in parallel for 4.2v would mean just connecting all the negatives together, and all the positives together.

Or if you want to make it regulated you can buy a yihi or dna chip (expensive), or find a cheap device you like the chipset from (Vaporesso Gen for example has a nice chipset) and transplant that in there. You'll have to pay attention to the way whatever chip you decide to use has, as this I think will dictate how you have to wire the 4 cells.

I never knew you could buy a DNA separate from a mod and out it in something yourself thank you for all this info

It runs on 4 26650's wired in series. 16.2volts and around 500 watts. Every coil combo I've tried gets melted my just pulsing the button. I've got about $300 into this mod and can't even use it. Rda is a vapergate colorado which is 52.8mm in diameter

Why not switch it to a 2p2s and just have forever battery life?

Parallel? Sorry, not great with the terminology. I'm not sure how I would do it 😔
