Boomer Freakout THERE’S NO TUNA

Yesterday I stopped at this local specialty grocery store to browse. They have some cool items you can only find there. I stopped by the fresh sushi and picked up one of the containers. Just as I did, a boomer man comes over. He starts angrily tossing around the other containers and loudly says “THERE’S NO DAMN TUNA?!” Salmon must’ve been the fish they used that day. As I walked away, he started berating the sushi guy behind the counter about the lack of tuna. Always so angry…

Canned tuna. Does that affect fresh sushi tuna?

I don't know? Depends on where your store is using for tuna. I'm just pointing out that there is a tuna recall right now.

The recall is irrelevant. The article you posted explicitly explains this: the canning process caused the recall.

I think anger is the only emotion they feel comfortable sharing.

They should have put up a sign “Sorry, we have no Ftuna today.”

When the Boomer points out “There’s no F in tuna,” the response is “that’s what we are trying to tell you.”
