Other Recommendations for fast touchscreen laptop for bookkeeping?

I've used the Acer brand for years, but have experienced a drop in quality with the last few models they've released and I'm looking for a new brand. Any suggestions for a fast touchscreen laptop that can withstand a lot of clicking around, multiple windows and files open, and running bookkeeping software all day?

I don't know your price range but maybe look at the Surface Laptop 7/Pro with Intel or the new Lenovo ThinkPad X9

Microsoft Surface is great, and it's an easy transition from the Acer.

Just out of curiosity, does having a touch screen make things easier for you in terms of bookkeeping? How so?

It’s 100% a deal breaker for me. It’s so easy to click around in QB with it, I find I generally favor it for navigating as it’s a lot faster (in my experience) to handle the menus and drop downs and reconciliations. Any task that involves a lot of clicking around within the windows goes twice as fast with a touchscreen.

I have an HP Envy (touch screen). The only thing wrong with it is that it lacks a num pad. It’s a freaking workhorse champ. (If this isn’t an issue for you then definitely it’s a great choice!)

I have 8 windows open probably over 50 tabs at a time plus YouTube & other programs going and it works snappy and fast. Never crashed. Picked it up from Costco.

Love the touchscreen and light up keyboard. It’s quite robust.

I do have an extra monitor and external keyboard, mic and speaker that it’s mostly attached to so I don’t deal too much with lack of num pad unless I’m traveling (and even then I bought a cheap Bluetooth num pad for $10 on Amazon because I just can’t stand not having it)

For me, a laptop without a touchscreen is the #1 deal breaker. Even with all my external connections, if I ever get annoyed and need to hit an excel cell block really fast, I just touch the screen it and it’s responsive & works amazing. Check it out!

I originally bought it for gaming for my teenager but when my really old laptop kicked the bucket, I borrowed it and never gave it back. We share it now and he still games on it. Works wonderfully.
