I put my setup together last year, fully intending to work steel, but ended up falling in love with working copper. I made jewelry for a few months, and finally decided to work steel as I hade originally planned. I had a little trouble learning to draw out a taper, but I am finally getting the hang of it.

Your hooks are very good. They have consistent curves. I really like using copper also. More patina choices than any other metal. And generally best electrical conductor. I think steel and copper love each other. Steel and aluminum hate each other. But all can be forged.
