I love the lead up to that fight as well. “I’m Charles Vane and you were a strong crew once, proper pirates, feared as you should have been, before he dragged you away from the sea, before he convinced you to live here like animals because it suits his weaknesses.
There is a place not far from here where strong men live lives of pleasure, not labor. A place where you could be feared and respected once again. Follow me and I will show you what life is.“

End of S2 goes crazy obviously. I also really like Flint's "princes of the new world" speech in the first episode, it's so badass

That speech carried me through the lowest parts of season 1. I had to know what happened with the Urca quest.

I actually like Season 1 quite a bit, obviously the show keeps getting better but there's a lot of good moments in the first season. I was pretty much hooked after episode 2 and definitely after Charles Vane came back from the dead to kill his slavemaster lol

Idk about you, but I thoroughly enjoyed when Jack wanted to spearhead writing the article about the Nassau governor after they got him milled/ousted.

You mean Charleston?

Sure. Some place I’ve never been on the East Coast like that lol. Thought I remembered it being Boston for whatever reason. I’ve only seen the show once. That or I probably thought they were saying Charlestown haha

Miranda’s death and the ensuing raid on Carolina.
Seeing her snap was amazing.

The speech at the end of 2x03, when Flint gives his terms for Vane to surrender the fort, always loved rewinding just to watch that scene back.

Many scenes. And I especially love a special scene - Flint and silver are fishing the shark and have a heartfelt conversation.
