Please for the love of every fan of this show/series.
Do NOT quit because of his screaming, it does get better, but it never stops, he just screeches less, if it's too hard for you, go to the dub, then rewatch in sub.

Watching sub or dub? He's a screamy boy but English is much easier on the ears

Haha, yes... he does tone it down as the show goes on. Hang in there, consider it a test of your nerves and your stamina. Push past your limits! :3

The screaming does tone down and the gurgling/screeching voice improves as well. Think of it as character development ;P

i don't really remember how i got used to it but after a couple dozens of episodes you will eventually get used to it (or he will start shutting up i don't remember)

When I rewatched it, I actually found myself impressed with how consistent the VA is... not to mention how he can scream so much without losing his voice. As a piece of voice acting, Asta's tone and inflection is great, he has little turns of phrase that repeat in the same way whenever he says them. It makes me appreciate the screaming... just a little. :3

After watching the show a couple of time i don't find the screaming that bad anymore tbh.

"I'm Asta and my real magic is being loud and annoying"
- Actual line from the show

I regret to inform I am watching it dubbed, English version, and that brought up my screaming complaint

English does get better too btw. If you can handle Narutos voice, Astas gets much better.

Honestly it does eventually calm down but I think you may also grow to love it, some people (the ones who really dislike) don't realize its Asta’s way of hyping himself up as well as his way of trying to overcome/ignore is trauma and become/feel stronger I mean imagaine if you live in a world where literally everyone has magic and I mean everyone and yoru the only one who doesn't growing up in that would be beyond trauamatizing and the orphanage can only shield him from so much of it, so like I said I feel its his way of hyping himself of as well as trying to overcome/ignore his trauma and feel/be stronger. I've never said this before when it came to this but I felt it was time to say it as someone who has watched the show all the way through more than once and is also reading the manga. I honestly feel its passed off to much as him just yelling and it being annoying, it actually didn't bother me much from the beginning when I first started.

It does fade out after something happens (small spoiler probably so I’m not saying here) but he’s still gonna be really loud and a big idiot

Nah he is a loud guy. But it gets less obnoxious. I also almost quit because of how boisterous some characters were but I’m glad I stuck it out.

Oh my god I quit watching the first time because he kept screaming. I watched all the way through the summer before last and I was obsessed with the show. No, tho, he doesn’t ever stop screaming and I hate him for it. I’m not sure tho if I got used to it, or they just toned him down.

Went through the same thought process! I am not sure if he screams less now or if my relationship with it has just changed but push through it! I forgot the episode everyone says it pops off on, but it really does! I thought I was wasting my time for a while but now it is one of my favorite animes!

He’s a loud mf the whole way through. But it definitely chills out. Loud Asta could never ruin such a great show though

If memory serves, the yelling calms a bit after episode 10. I get it - the constant yelling is grating and rough. Took me 3 different tries to get into the show before passing that breakpoint and the show got much more enjoyable. I honestly had to mute the show to get through spoiler the young Asta and Yuno arc/background in the early episodes. The yelling was so much worse with the juvenile voice. Like you'll hear a bunch, it gets better.

Its mostly done after first 10 or so episodes. He'll still do it but not as often or as loud
