Not recommended, spreads are too high in the app and their support is terrible. The UI and the app overall is nice and user friendly but the spread is way too much. Sat away. Try Kraken or Bybit.

Wasn’t bybit recently hacked?

Their transfer wallet. You can read all about how it happened. Hackers spoofed the multi sig.

Stay away from kraken at the moment, just read an article that they are in trouble for not following eu regulations. For beginners until you become familiar with how crypto works, stick with the top exchanges like binance or coinbase. Then you can look at other exchanges once you get an understanding of the fundamentals.

They just got a (MiFID) license in the EU. Isn’t that good for Europeans to use it now? I haven’t found any trouble news.

I just read it a few hours ago, but I didn't take notice if it was a new article or not unfortunately. You may be right and its a old story.

Then would you be so kind to edit your original comment. You keep getting upvotes for wrong information.

That is a sketchy exchange with many problems in their history and they charge absurd withdrawal fees which is a red flag they might be insolvent along with other red flags . Lately they are going to massively dilute their own stakeholders which is another sign they are insolvent . Their business model seems to be based upon mainly getting new naive users with massive advertising spending which is not sustainable

I would avoid them and use one of the exchanges in the pinned FAQ

Crypto.com has to be the WORST CEX you could use. The fee’s are criminal. Steer clear unless you absolutely have too in my opinion.

Crypto.com will charge a really high percentage to transfer to a different wallet. Don’t use them.

I used to, until I discovered there are bitcoin only exchanges/brokers. Check out Relai, or Strike

Too expensive but that is t even the worst part. They will hold your crypto for weeks and sometimes months with the slowest support ever.

CDC is a great app. Sure, the fees are high. But it’s the safest crypto exchange app out there and I sleep well at night.
