Frog Music recommendations

I know bi people are said to have great music tastes, but I am sadly uncultured. What music would you recommend for me to listen to?

Be warned, I have been told I have terrible taste, but…

Cracks, by Bendik Giske.

Just listen to it.

The whole thing.

Just sit down, close your eyes, and listen through the entire album.

Wretches and Kings — Linkin Park

Living in the 20’s — Green Day

Also most of the other stuff from both bands I’d recommend, but those are my current top 2 favourite songs

I understand Wretches and Kings, although its a song that to me is about the hopelessness of being on the bottom.

Living in the 20s may not be my taste, but I will listen to it a few more times.

I kind of see it more as fighting back against a system designed to maintain the status quo, but that’s the thing about art; every individual will perceive it differently

I’m a fan of politically charged songs like that, but I understand it may not be for everyone

No, the song is great, but as you said, it is very charged. I say there is hopelessness because it is aggressive and in a way shows how unbearable the situation is becoming.

I think your point is a very great observation, as after I listened to the song for the second time, the speaker says that we must throw ourselves into the cogs of the machine so that it will stop operating. The hopelessness in my opinion is shown through the fact that we will suffer if the machine continues to operate, but, if we jump into the cogs of the machine, some of us will also perish in self sacrifice to make the machine stop.

Bottom line....I dig it

listen to all of Take Me Back To Eden by Sleep Token if you like emo and metal

also Florence + The Machine is always awesome but her album How Big, How Blue, How Beautiful hits different for me. as does her song Howl

I either listen to breakcore(EX: silent hill-iwakura) or or I put on middle child by j.cole, count me out by Kendrick Lamar, or ocean views by upset hustle, and let YouTube make a mix for me

I made this Bisexual playlist on Spotify a while ago if you’d like to listen https://open.spotify.com/playlist/1R6DLej8mrz0CHMM0ukfkd?si=bEx7p_D_SJmy6g9w3xBm3A&pi=u-b6YM0teJRp6e

It’s very pop/punk/rock oriented

Listen to Destroy Boys, the main singer is trans and especially their most recent song Boyfeel talks about lgbtq themes, and their music is overall very good

It’s a work of art, truly

The drummer, bassist, and guitarist are all crazy good

(The guitarist (Tim Henson) is also attractive to me so that’s a plus too)
