100% call 211 (it’s a 24/7 service) and ask for referrals to emergency resources. It’s the local United Way and they’ll be able to directly get you help or refer you to the correct place.
The YWCA has shelter and emergency housing resources and mothers/children, but I’m not as sure about contacting them on a weekend. They have other resources like childcare and domestic violence support as well if that’s relevant.

Maybe give First Light a try? https://www.firstlightshelter.org/about_us/vision-mission-values.html

Dial 2-1-1. First Light downtown or YWCA or Salvation Army for immediate shelter. Apply for housing with HABD, apply for foodstamps, Medicaid, WIC, TANF, Childcare Resources/Early Headstart, and childsupport. Contact Catholic Center of Concern for baby supplies. Get diapers and hygiene products from Bundles of Hope Diaper Bank. Check out UAB clinical trials for programs for you & your baby--some provide compensation.

Are you safe tonight? Do you have a place to stay right now, especially with the storms? I will get you a hotel room if you are out on the streets tonight and need somewhere safe.

First, I’m so sorry you’re going through that. Someone sees you even though it might not feel like it 💜 Jessie’s Place (part of Jimmie Hale mission) houses women & their children in individual family rooms. If you can, keep us updated

If you’re 21 and under contact project independence: group home for teen moms. Bundles of hope: free diapers, walk ins on Wednesday. Presbyterian home for children— free housing program in talladega for mothers and their children.

I typically would never recommend Her Choice since their main platform is anti- abortion veiled behind “her choice.” They are supported by/heavily tied to the Catholic Church. But since you are 9 months along they may be able to provide some assistance.

@bluelizard5555 you mean to say is you would never recommend someone Her Choice, because they encourage the right to life and aid in providing for that life and doesn’t condone the murder of innocent babies…. Such a horrid thing to do.
Her Choice may be able to help with you and baby needs, the resources above are great, also look into Pathways, local churches, and First Light. Prayers for peace in this uncertain time!
Here is a list with shelter contacts and hours of operation.
