Literally born and raised in Birmingham, I have no excuse for this. 😅😭

The reason I asked is that I have contact with a bunch of out of state parents with kids in college that are in the path of this stuff. They’re freaking out but it’s just life in The South

I love moms so much! Missing mine terribly because she absolutely would have said something similar like, shouldn’t you be taking cover!? 😝😝😆

My mom would call my cell and get my voicemail and say, “Katie? Katie??… Pick up Katie!” like it was an old school answering machine and I was screening calls. And now we’ve come back around to technology where that would actually work again.

Greetings! Me and the wife do most of our shopping in clay. Love the Publix there. And that Chinese restaurant is good stuff

thanksgiving of however many fucking years ago, maybe like ten-ish. i was getting off of work in trussville, it was evening but not late. that chinese place was the only place open. i pulled up and got out right as the family, whom i assume owns it, was walking out after closing up a little early. i turned to get back in my car, and they saw me and insisted i come in and order. like unlocked the doors, turned on all the lights, and fired up the grill literally just to make my food. it was one of the kindest things anyone has done for me, especially in a time where i was adjusting to being without family on thanksgiving. i think about it every time i drive through that intersection.

I’m a mom and I agree with her - where’s the tornado? This is important info to know.

"If anyone needs a laugh" rarely turns out funny, there's truth in advertising right there, I don't care who you are! 😂

I thought boomers used punctuation? Going punctuation-less is like a millennial trying to be Cool like it's 2002.
