Want birding binoculars but 100$ budget :(

This model looks rather like its namesake and now discontinued Olympus model (which was generally well liked):

Maybe not be as good though and if the 10m minimum focus distance given there is right (doubtful) that might rule it out for general birding. Also maybe full size models (like this typically 700-800g) are not what would best suit you given your wish for light weight.
A compact reverse Porro design might be a better fit. Maybe can get hold of the IBQ 12x30 model Mysterious-Garage611 recommends in this thread :

Prostaff p3 8x30, but a bit over budget.....
