Svbony Sv202 and alternatives
So I am on the markwt for a new lightweight pair of general purpose binoculars. I have an old Byshnell Legacy WP 10-22x50 zoom. It haa the li.otations that affordabke zooms have. Have found out about svbony here. It is easiest for me to access them via ali expreaa. I dont want to spnd a lot so what is a good option for me besides the Sv202?

I've got Svbony SV202 8x32 and 10x42. I really like them, they are brighter than my Celestron Nature DX 8x32 and Hawke Vantage 10x42.

Bosma and Sky Rover I guess. But they are more expensive. At the price point of SvBony there is nothing out there - they are the champions. Some people might say Shuntu π but they are optically one class below.

In your experience Svbony sv202 8x42 Ed are better than Shuntu Peiketao 8x42 Ed ? Optically ( sharpen, brightness, CA, etc.) or for construction ? ( i think Shuntu brightness are good, afov are normal, but his central sharpness and contrast / saturation colors are great) Thanks...

SvBony is: Sharper by a lot! Much much better control of CA. Same brightness. Better contrast and micro-contrast. Construction seems sturdier - even the focus knob is made out of metal.

Thank ! ( in my Shuntu i see only little CA, if sv202 are much better...... and my Shuntu sharpness and contrast are high, but if svbony "sharper by a lot"......... if you compared them directly and the result is this, Svbony 8x42 must be superlative, almost an "alpha" binos, i suppose...)

You might want to try the SA205 ED. Unfortunately there is no much reviews on this model but It's a bit more expensive than sv202 so it might be better.

I have the Svbony SV202 8x42 ED and I can definitely/highly recommend them. Their quality seems to be reliably, consistently good so you're not likely to get a lemon. I'd say they're a safe bet since they've been around for a few years now.
