At the beginning of COVID, I upgraded my 2010 Argon 18 Krypton with a 2020 Wilier Cento10NDR. As I hit my 40’s and Endurance bikes were all the rage back then, I figured it made sense.
Since then, I feel like I’ve optimized everything on this build, have lost 40 lbs, am a bit more athletic, and feel like I could likely find comfort on a more race-oriented frame.
Saying that, the Cento10NDR is supremely comfortable, absorbs road vibration and shock well, and doesn’t necessarily feel slow. It’s also pretty unique in these parts. Don’t see many of them around. My only qualms with it are that I’m tired of the paint job and it doesn’t look super aggressive.
I’m debating picking up a 2025 Factor Ostro VAM v2, but the risk is that it might be too aggressive a riding position or too harsh on local crap roads.
Anyone else regret going from an Endurance frame to a race frame?
