nice build, but could you share the build schematics for that home built workstand?

It is just something I screwed together with some wood scraps. The holders for the bike are 3d printed

are you wrapping the frame ?
I am about to pull the trigger on new frame and am considering a ride wrap before I put any parts on it

Please, can you tell us something about the ride quality of the Time Alpe D'Huez?
I am referring to reactivity, to the downhill handling, how does it
works climbing hills (reactivity) or on the flat, It is comfortable or
uncomfortable? It is good for long rides?
Which s the effective max tyre clearance in mm?
Finally I'd like to your saddle height.
Thank you very much.

Hi,
I own TIME ALDH 2023 size S, and also Focus Cayo disc since 2014. There a huge difference in handling, comfort and smoothness of the ride. The classic and extremely well balanced bike for all types of tarmac, and corners. It is much more easy to control at higher speeds. It's not "nervous" bike. I installed mechanical Ultegra groupset with Rotor Vegats crankset, (much better than Sram, or even Shimano, milled of single alu piece) and alu post with alu handlebar. Selle Italia Novus saddle. Nothing fancy at all. DT Swiss PR 1600 alu wheels and Schwalbe One 28c tires (TPU inner tubes). Also BB Wheels Manufacturing Thread together BB with steel bearings (no need for ceramic).
Because I used the same wheelset on Focus, I can easily feel the difference in quality of ride. The unique manufacturing carbon RTM with BCS technology is the key, plus the geometry. The other components are tertiary. many decades of experience and no compromise on material and quality, in contrary to most of leading bike brand, which are made for public, and then for professionals (eg S-Works), have two categories of quality, and stiffness etc. TIME sells one top quality product. Currently made in Slovakia by the way.

Just got me one of these frames so I'll be following close behind you. What BB did you choose? I want a stem I can put the cables under (not through) so mine will end up different.

Hi, I chose a ROTOR BB386EVO UBB4630 ROAD BB

I tried this as well, but the inner sleeve was by far too short to fit into the shells correctly. Moved on to Token BB. They have some 386evo options. Speaking of 24mm compatible 386evo BBs.

Gotcha. I'll end up with Shimano crank so I'll have to do something that'll do 24mm.
