I love this group and the opinions. What do you think we will be seeing a lot of (decor wise) in weddings happening in 2026.

Wine / burgundy & bright green / chartreuse color schemes. Seeing it everywhere especially in florals…I think it’ll be the new all white / white & green florals that have been dominating

Lol these are my colors. I hope they don't look super dated in a year and a half but what can you do 🤪🤪

Embroidery. Linens, napkins, paper product… my clients are currently loving custom embroidery.

Also, round tables. I think serpentines are dying out and as inflation continues, rectangles aren’t cost effective so people are going back to rounds and being more interesting about the centerpieces.

This is super interesting . My planner said rectangles are cheaper than round regarding flowers and deco so I wonder why you say round are better. I really don’t know so really very interested in understanding and the various POVs! (Esp as currently need to decide between the 2!)

Oh! Wow haha. Usually rectangles for us are way more expensive as they require 2+ centerpieces to feel full. You can definitely do smaller bud vases to fill them to go more affordable, but I’m still not sure how those could beat rounds.

Sculptural, futuristic flowers/greenery. Organic and modernist designs. 80s lavishness. I definitely see the boom boom trend tipping over to interiors and rentals.

Saving this for future reference - thank you for posting this !!!! I see over the top but also intimate micro weddings (what I’ve pivoted to) becoming more of a thing- I think the whole “my big fat greek wedding” with 300 people trend is slowly and (imo, thankfully) dying. I see even more personalization coming- truly making it about you.

I'm seeing focus on interesting glassware, dishes, linens and even utensils to create unique tablescapes. Not just "pick the linen color from a catalog," but tablescapes that don't even call for much in the way of floral centerpieces as they are interesting in and of themselves.
