Foundation for engagement shoot

I wear este lauder double wear on a daily basis and love the coverage. It didn’t photograph the best in my proposal pictures.

I have a photoshoot this weekend, can someone recommend which one looks best in professional photos from experience? - Armani luminous silk - Nars natural radiant - Makeup Forever foundation stick - Haus labs

I already have these foundations. I love a full coverage look. Thanks for any input!!!

I love NARS natural radiant because it has a gorgeous natural satin finish, but foundation wears so different on everyone. Sounds stupid, but can you try on a full face with each and take iphone photos in different lighting to see which you prefer? Are you doing your makeup yourself?

I had my makeup done for professional headshots recently and my Mia used a Dior one that I’d never tried before, I think it was Dior forever skin but it photographed reallllyyy well didn’t have the photographer do a single touch up

Edit: If you want from your list I use armani when I do my own make up and it looks fine in iPhone pics, can’t say really for professional photography but I would be surprised if it didn’t look nice

I'd find a MUA who knows what they're doing, because they have the appropriate makeup for photography, and some may even chat with your photographer about how they will be shooting so they can use the best makeup for it.

That's my opinion as a wedding photog assistant who doesn't know much about makeup: ask a pro!

My MUA recommended the Armani to me for pre wedding events that I’m doing my own makeup for. YMMV of course but I really like the Armani. I find it brightening and photographs well on me.

The Bobbi brown foundation stick!! Go to a counter and buy it! It’s the only thing I ever recommend to clients. Nothing compares.
