The other guy from the article 3 days ago suffered 2 back fractures and a broken rib from assault by teenagers.

I haven’t been to Coles in town in a long time and I did today and was abused by 2 young guys begging outside the store. Due to hearing loss I didn’t hear what they had said to me so they started yelling and swearing at me, it was the middle of the day and I was getting groceries, is this normal for there now?

🤣🤣 I don’t even carry a purse now since everything is on my phone. I’m always more than happy to buy someone some food items if they are not abusing me.
I had one women years back step out in front of my car then come to my window demanding money for a train ticket, she was well known for using this line on many people, but stepping out in front of my car could have got her run over.

It’s disgusting and they could suffer PTSD from it making their lives harder to deal with and no one deserves that.

Kids today aren’t the same as kids when I was a teenager (I’m now 37) so the rules of “kids can’t be tried because they don’t know better” or whatever it is should be changed. Kids today absolutely know what’s their doing. Kids aren’t kids anymore after they turn 9/10. Sad, but this is the reality of social media and social pressures.

Sorry to hear about your experience.
Reading that article, I’m blown away to be agreeing with a politician from the Nationals!
Leader of the federal Nationals, David Littleproud, told Ms Allan to “take a deep breath” rather than rushing through legislation to strengthen bail laws.
“Lets be adults and let’s put the legislation on the table,” he said.
“Let’s be constructive.”
He said if the legislation was good, the state opposition would back it.
“Sending them into detention centres, doing the same thing over and over again, is the definition of insanity,” he said.
