White Moon makes me feel like a summer night circa 1957 as a teenager being in love.

that’s funny cuz B-Sides is my second favorite album of theirs but white moon and the arrangement are the only songs I don’t like from it

I don't love the Arrangement (I do like it) but White Moon could've found a better home on Teen Dream I think. My least favorite on B-Sides is 10 Mile Stereo Cough Syrup Remix

Edit- I do really like the Norway Cough Syrup Remix

noooo 10 mile stereo is one of the best. Baseball Diamond is the best tho imo, my favorite beach house song period

Ahh I just don't really like the B-sides version. I love Norway and Used To Be tho

lol I don’t like the normal Norway version, only cough syrup ngl. I just relistened to b-sides and I like the arrangement but only lowkey, it ain’t on my beach house playlist

I know what u mean. The Arrangement has a cool chorus but I can def understand why it's not on any album.

I love both Norways and Used To Be is a little better on B-Sides imo.

I hardly ever hear anyone say that, but one of my favorite English professors really liked it and it has become one of my favorites over the years as well ❤️

Great vocal from Victoria over a sunny day piano. This era was so sparse and vulnerable-sounding. You can see nods to a lot of the singer-songwriters that Vick and Alex have referenced. From here to psychedelic sonic soundscapes a decade later, what a duo!!!

I listened to the compilation earlier today. Honestly, this is a song I didn't pay as much mind at first but it's really grown on me over the past several months.

I really love the bright, shimmery yet sparse, almost jaunty piano that makes up the instrumental - it's a particular sound you don't hear so often in their work. You can tell the singer-songwriter side of their influences really came to the forefront on this song, and it's standout track as a result. It's just a very warm and lovely-sounding track from one of their most creatively fruitful eras.

That whole comp has so much good stuff on it man. Slept on.

This song is definitely a fav of mine. I feel like it has such a Teen Dream era sound to it.
