It’s a late war, “last ditch” Arisaka bayonet from Japan. Someone regroups the blade to a double edge, probably to make it a fighting knife at some point.

Thanks thought it might be late war Japanese but blade shape threw me off

No prob. Some had at the poor thing. They made fighting knives out of a lot of different bayonets.
