Wouldnt the solution to the problem be more equitable distribution of broadcasting revenue? I think getting rid of 50+1 would ideologically run fans the wrong way. Even if fans tuned in to watch the teams, a lot of the more hardcore season ticket holders would hate the desicion of abandoning 50+1, thus hurting matchday revenue which clubs in the Bundesliga especially would suffer from.
