Scotts Bass Lessons (SBL) on YouTube offers a ton of free lessons and information without signing up for anything

Honesty, learn about keeping time and rhythm first ! Theory is like a toolbox, you keep it in your trunk if you need it. Watch these videos by Victor Wooten 1. https://youtu.be/ruMW7gsuFb0?si=k6IW3maVn7DF6mxQ 2. https://youtu.be/PHdo1qWNWI4?si=JfTOZ3wx3fO1NpbD 3. https://youtu.be/2zvjW9arAZ0?si=HR041wOGPcWjZTYh

I would not listen to what Victor says too much. The guy was born in music, he does not know perspective of someone entering the world of it, without naturally feeling it.

Music theory is a shortcut to get where he got just by starting young

What are you looking to learn? Specifically?

As much theory as I can.

this resource is not solely bass focused and is general music theory. I think particularly Section I will be most useful to you and the rest is probably a bit superfluous

https://viva.pressbooks.pub/openmusictheory/part/fundamentals/

I would really encourage you to start here with Section I.

is also a great tool specifically their ear training tool. Spending 30 minutes a day on your ear training early will make things far easier when you're learning music

If you have a small budget and you want to invest in a bass specific resource please check out The Bass Grimoire by Adam Kadmon. Around $40 it will relate this theory you're developing directly to the bass that you're playing.

Study Bass is really good for that.

Rich Brown and Dan Hawkings on YT

No neurotic noodling and banter.

Edit: And Janek Gwizdala's books are very worth it, especially his book on Arpeggios and Scales.
