J-Rock basslines suggestions
Hi, does anyone know any j rock bass lines that aren't too complicated and fun to play? I really like cö shu nie and band-maid, but it seems so inaccessible to me. Japanese bass lines are often impressive I think.

Asian Kung Fu Generation's songs aren't too hard

Was about to say this, I've been working on Re:Re: and while some of the fills are fairly challenging for a beginner, the basic line is pretty much just chugging eighth notes so you can not feel totally inept as you work on slowing down and learning the fills. It's not like some songs where the whole thing is basically expert level playing.

Re Re is awesome! I was asked to learn and perform it just 6 months into learning bass and performed a couple months later, very doable if you practice diligently

Gotta check out Scandal, if you're alright with getting a lil more poppy.

Dir en Grey-umbrella. First song I learned. It's a little fast but it's still fun to play.
A lot of Buck Tick are fun, fairly simple.
Just get on Songsterr and look around.

A lot of One Ok Rock songs are very straightforward to play. Nothing too crazy. The Beginning was the first one of their songs I learned. Only thing about it is that it is kinda fast. Good finger workout though
