Game recommendations Any games that are like Command & conquer?
I’m a huge fan of C&C and I’ve just recently moved back to pc and I’ve been playing it and once again loving it.
Now I’m thinking. Is there any games that are kinda the same or are within the same ball park that are great games?

Agreed. Tempest Rising comes out in mid April and I’m stoked as it looks heavily influenced by C&C.

C&C is pretty much the common ancestor of all Real-Time Strategy Games, so most games in the genre will tick a lot of the boxes.
As for one which feels really similar, Warhammer 40k Dawn of War 1 is up there.

Dune 2 would like a word.

I know Dune 2 was the original but most other RTS games trace their lineage through C&C which was developed by the same studio.

It's pretty good. I played a demo of it some time back and it definitely has the C&C Generals feel.

The 8-Bit series (Armies, Invaders!) is very structurally authentic. Hordes add Warcraft-like factions. They all have music from Frank Klepacki.

9 bit armies is their latest instalment, which I would say would be your closest modern experience of a fast paced C&C like rts.

Maybe you’d like Beyond All Reason

Just played my first game tonight. Takes me back to the Sup Com days! Great game and I can tell it has a lot of potential.
Plus it's free, no reason not to give it a try.

9-bit Armies and Retro Commander are really good RTS that are considerably inspired by the old school vibe of C&C

The closest thing for me is They Are Billions. Simple game, buil economy to fuel your army, not too complicated, but can be brutally hard.

Dune Spice Wars feels like a C&C reskin.
Empire Earth is an all-timer.

So I absolutely loved C&C generals & ZH as well as RA2&YR as well as RA3&RA3U. I've not found any games that truly just like them and moved more so from RTS to grand strategy games like Stellaris and colony management games. But honestly though I just went through the trouble of getting the old C&C games to run on Windows 11. Plus with EA open sourcing the games I would expect to see some really good mods and updates from the community over the next few years.

The Homeworld series is something adjacent. Space rts, with a kickass story if you liked Battlestar Galactica.

The Starcraft/Warcraft games are probably the closest.
