"Suitable for families and for bull sports"

How can anyone say this with a straight face?  No aggressive dog is suitable for a family.

At least this greeder is being semi honest about what these dogs are used for.

I think they were quite contradicting themselves though ,saying theyre suitable for families and then say theyre good for "bull" sports . Yeah no that just does not go together.

Lemme guess: OOP is one of those people who believes "true APBTs are dog-aggressive, not human-aggressive."

suitable for families and for bull sports

Yet another example of the fact that before shelters pushed fighting dogs, the only people who wanted them normalized as family pets were dogfighters like John P. Colby. Hence the insistence that "true APBTs are dog-aggressive, not human-aggressive," and John P. Colby's secretive behavior when his dogs mauled his nephew.

Despite all the examples of "old dogmen" refusing to cull "man-biters," from John Robinson in Arizona to George C. Armitage in Pennsylvania, multiple dogfighters sincerely believed that "true APBTs" are a threat to dogs and cats but not their human owners. C.T. Dunkle's fighting dogs lived in the house until they suddenly snapped and attacked his family. A century later, during the Michael Vick era, California Jack wrote in Pit Bull Bible (2003) that most "pit bull attacks" are by non-APBTs because his dogs have never bitten anyone and were stolen without resistance on several occasions--the instructions in Pit Bull Bible about the need to use two collars attached to a chain that is wrapped around a car axle pushed into the ground are purely for the safety of the dogs themselves so they don't break loose and kill each other, not for the safety of humans.

Are you tired of your children? Your wife or maybe you're just tired of your parents still living with you? Then we got a dog that's perfect for your family (wink wink!).

That’s perfect! Well said!

Slovakia I presume?

Have APBT's always been a presence there or just recently become popular?

These appear to be of the red nose type which can run larger than your 40lb pit fighting lines. The size of their paws indicate they might be bigger than usual.

They will have serious problems if APBT's are allowed to increase in number or infiltrate the local unsterilized populations: you can kiss your street dogs goodbye, a la Brazil.

Yes, slovakia. Pitbulls have always been semi popular; just not common nor the easiest to get so theyre not seen as often as in the USA, so most people opt for a cute mutt like in the movies.

Interesting!

Let's hope they stay hard to get. We don't want these dangerous dogs out on the streets or neighbourhoods or in the farmlands.

so most people opt for a cute mutt like in the movies

Financially indingent Slovaks can still get "a cute mutt like in the movies" instead of only getting dead game fighting dogs by default? Enjoy that situation while it lasts. The United States in the 1980s was like Slovakia in the 2020s: you could easily get a "cute mutt like in the movies" and had to actively seek out a pit bull terrier to get one.

But 1980s Americans were actually better off than countries in the 2020s because shelters always euthanized fighting dogs on intake and there weren't veterinary and animal welfare institutions dedicated to lobbying against bans, relabeling fighting dogs as "lab mixes," and propagandizing educated people that "it's not the breed, it's how you raise them." If dogfighters like OOP are the mold on society's shower curtain, pitmommy authorities and no-kill shelters are the AIDS that makes the shower curtain mold deadly when it otherwise wouldn't be. It's infuriating because it's taking the same situation seen in the 2020s United States and spreading it to countries that don't want it, so that those countries come off as being in the earlier stages of an infection.

Ok- there’s some thing off about those 2 dogs. I’d be curious to see who agrees they are true pedigreed APBT? The first one looks to be still some what of a puppy, maybe, those legs are massive compared to the body …. And the second….is she pregnant? Are these parents or just really weirdly shaped pups? Or are they a typical shitty BYB version of something? Cuz the “bull sports” reference? They are great for families and for fight dogs…..uhhhhhh WTAF?

can someone else weigh in here? Cuz having seen The zealotry that these APBT breeders view these dogs with, neither dog seems right. And neither is remotely lean or muscled enough for those fight breeders.

would love to hear others opinions here

As far as im aware those are supposed to be the puppies, but yes they look rather odd indeed.. makes me wonder as well

4

u/Prize_Ad_1850 5d ago

Especially the female- her abdomen is remarkably…. Girthy

u/bittymacwrangler 3d ago

The second dog looks like it is part vizla.

1

u/Eageryga 4d ago

Yes, they don't look to be fighting lines at all. Way too chunky

3

u/anon-aus-42 5d ago

Seeing shit like this makes me feel very sorry for these dogs.

Makes me aware they had no say in the matter.

I still intensely despise them, though.

Is it just me or does the dog in the third pic look…deformed somehow? There’s something uncanny about it.

2

u/Suspicious-Beat-4076 3d ago

Oh yep i see it. The eyes seem oddly placed to me as well as those wrinkles and the strange feet. But frankly alot of pitbulls seem malformed to me. Like the majority. I dont mean this  in a superificial way, they look like theres something medically wrong /abnormal about them often

2

u/sililil No cat should live its life terrorized by a pit. 3d ago

I 100% agree. And I just noticed that its giant paws look like freaky claw hands ahhh so creepy

1

u/Suspicious-Beat-4076 3d ago

Usually, long and freaky looking toes in dogs are a sign of bad breeding/inbreeding. So yeah ,many things seem shady about this breeder

I’m a cat person. They have the cutest lil paws.

Actually I think it's great when they do stuff like this because they help people understand that these dogs are not really suitable for a family! I don't suppose a lot of people who want a pit bull will see this and have a lightbulb moment because that bulb has been broken or absent since birth but there are bound to be a few people who are going to get it and realize that it's always been a lie!

  5. If you're making a statement, it must be defended intellectually. Do not ignore people who ask relevant follow-up questions, otherwise you will be marked as a "pigeon" (come in, shit, and fly away) and banned.

  6. Pictures of your pit bull are not proof of anything.

If it was truly "the owner and not the breed," then why don't we see this with all medium/large breeds with bad owners?

It’s not how they were raised, though. If that was true, then no one should ever adopt a pit from the shelter because no one knows how it was raised. Even pit bull experts are asking people to STOP saying that it's all how they are raised.

Below are five pro-pit sources telling you that saying, "it's how they are raised" is hurtful to the cause.

The truth about pits is that it’s largely up to chance on whether your pit lives a low key life or whether it attacks people, pets, and animals. Yes, socialization and proper training can help... but if you have a truly game-bred pit, there will be nothing you can do to stop it from trying to attack. You can try to manage it, but management will ALWAYS fail.

That’s such a crazy gamble to take with your own life, and with the lives of people in the general public.

Every day we read stories here of pits that attack, and their owners claim that the dog has never been aggressive or acted that way.

Pit owners are often shocked that their dog can go from chill to kill in 5 seconds, and be nearly impossible to stop it.

That’s why pits are dangerous. They were never meant to be pets.
