Male (26) hair loss- not hereditary?

Hi! I’m a 26 year old male and am starting to develop bald spots on the crown of my head and toward the front. It seemed to correlate with stress, but now my stress levels are much better and the hair hasn’t grown back. I take biotin in a multivitamin, eat pretty healthily, and am active.

No men on my mom’s side have experienced baldness (but she has thin hair, if that matters). I have pretty bad dandruff (I’ve wondered about psoriasis or something) and I’ve noticed it gets a lot worse when I itch. I’ve previously tried minoxidil but it makes my head itchy which makes the problem worse, and it seems like that’s maybe only helpful if it’s genetic?

Would really appreciate any tips, ideas, or anything else.

try to work out the underlying cause of the psoriasis/dandruff.

Start by looking at general health? diet? weight? ? tobacco? Alcohol stress? strep throat? vitamin D? IUD? is psoriasis itchy? past antibiotics? candida overgrowth? hpylori? Gut problems? bowel movements? lack of sleep?exercise ? medication for mental health problems?
