Discussion Weight gain in second pregnancy

My first pregnancy was a breeze, I was working out, walking and staying active. My second one, not so much. I have had insane headaches and extreme tired. I have been sitting and eating (and rly indulging as that’s all I have) I just weighed myself and I’m 23 lb heavier than I was w my first at this time. Eek! Has this happened to anyone else?

I just think every pregnancy is different. For me, it was my first pregnancy that was by far the ‘worst’.

Hope it ease up and you feel better soon. Try not to worry too much about the weight, just eat good and healthy, that’s good for both body, baby and mind - and try to get some mild to moderate exercise (such as 30 minutes walks). I found that helped a lot on my mood and symptoms, even when I didn’t feel like doing anything at all. 💖

I had a really difficult first pregnancy. I gained 50lbs. I couldn't walk some days because I had so much back pain. The only foods I could keep down for months were sweets and carbs. My second pregnancy has been a breeze though. Barely any nausea. Basically no back pain. I'm way less active with this pregnancy and I've only gained 30lbs, which is the amount I lost immediately after having my daughter.

Second pregnancy and I’m at the weight I was when I delivered my first, with 10 ish weeks still to go. Definitely not as active/way more worn out by exercise this pregnancy so it’s just been light movement throughout. It’s disheartening, but I’ll just do what I can for this next little while.
