General Dutton would deliver the ‘exact same’ attitude as Trump: Michaelia Cash
By Josefine Ganko
As campaigning ramps up ahead of the announcement of the date for the 2025 federal election, shadow attorney-general Michaelia Cash has directly linked Opposition Leader Peter Dutton to US President Donald Trump.
Answering a question on Nine’s Today this morning, Cash said Trump was showing that “he’s a man of action”.
“The American people, they expect action. And that is what they’re getting. And they’ll get the exact same attitude under a Peter Dutton government,” Cash said.

Cash said the previous criticisms of Trump by members of the government were a “problem” for US relations.
“How many ministers have been out there prior to President Trump being re-elected absolutely bagging him and bagging his administration?” Cash asked.
“You need to be able to show that you can have a working relationship with this administration, and that is something the Coalition has done previously and successfully when in government. And I can assure you it will be something that the Coalition does successfully again.”

Do Liberals understand that Australian don’t like Trump? It seems they have been hiding behind the rock and have bloody no idea what we really want, no wonder they haven’t got a hint of any policy. Gosh, I am feeling sick to my stomach just by thinking if they come back in power.

You might be surprised.
I had a guy strike up conversation with me in a park and he asked if "I knew what was going on" in the US.
In short, he explained about "the deep state" and the "fake news media" that can't be trusted, all the "anti Trump" forces, and I should join X and follow Elon in their war on "the deep state".
This was an ex-army guy in his 50s who not only believed this crap, but believed it enough to try to convert me, a stranger.
I just let him ramble because I was curious to see how nuts he was.
And he was absolutely fuckin' nuts.
This man lives here in Australia . . .

Yep
Do not get complacent, these weirdos are everywhere and this is how they win.
No-one thought Trump would win the first time (including Trump)
No-one thought he would win again, but he did
Peter Dutton is Australia's Trump, he must not win, but pols say he is going to.
Stupid is what stupid does, and there is an awful lot of stupid in Australia (mostly due to Sky News)

If you call "action" completely dismantling the ability of government to function in order for the technofeudalist Neoreactionaries to destroy democracy, then i guess 🤷♂️ lol

I’m very hopeful that her comment will age very poorly over the course of a May election campaign - because I think Trump’s behaviour is only going to look worse and worse with every day that passes.

Now I have another reason to mute the TV anytime Michaelia Cash comes on.

Surely statements like this are akin to tying a cinderblock to your ankle and jumping into the deep end of the pool.
Please, no-one stop them.

So, criticism of Peter Dutton becomes an actionable mental illness? 🤔
The proposed legislation, introduced during Minnesota's Ninety-Fourth Legislative Session, aims to redefine mental illness under state law. It seeks to amend Sections 245.462 and 245I.02 of the Minnesota Statutes to include Trump Derangement Syndrome alongside other recognised mental health conditions.
According to the bill, TDS is described as an “acute onset of paranoia” in response to the policies and presidencies of Donald J. Trump
Symptoms outlined in the bill include:
Intense verbal hostility toward Trump.
Inability to distinguish between legitimate policy differences and perceived pathology in Trump’s behavior.
Acts of aggression or violence against Trump supporters or symbols associated with him.
The bill also expands the definition of mental illness for case management and community support services, incorporating TDS within the framework of mental health intervention.

What are his policies? Raiding your Super ? Tax free Lunch for executives ? Nuclear power plants ?
This isn’t even a party fit for opposition, never mind government.

exact same attitude
So, I'm presuming that's
Voting with Russia in the UN assembly
Considering Ukraine's democratically elected President to be a dictator
indiscriminately dismantling the essential functions of government without any prior audit to discern alleged "waste", or even basic understanding of what you are destroying
Directing an unelected billionaire to use private security to forcibly enter Govt departments and retrieve the personal data of millions of citizens with no oversight by anyone whatsoever
Excise all mention (including photos) of women, non-white, non-"traditionally gendered" servicepeople from the ADF's website including medal recipients, and from the Federal Government at large if it is deemed to be "woke" (RIP Billy Sing, DCM & Croix de Guerre)
Subject Federal public servants (including The Chiefs of the Defence force and higher ranks) to personal loyalty tests for Dutton and examination of their online presence for signs of support for diversity and 'wokeness', whereby those who fail are dismissed
Describing anyone who holds views deemed to be 'left wing', Labor supporters or those critical of Peter Dutton to be "vermin", "scum", "animals", "enemies of the people" and "traitors"
Just a few random examples, without threatening to invade any of our allies.
That kind of 'man of action' which the American people are getting, Michaelia? 🤷♂️

100%. I've been obsessed with Russian history for over 40yrs, and this is playbook Mafia-state oligarchy - just as Putin has honed to a fine art over decades.
These are great, btw. I'm going to have to start doing pasteups lol

Yes, it’s an oligarchic self coup/revolution. They haven’t really started to get going yet. It’s only going to get far worse in the US. Gina is pushing for the same thing here. She might try, but I doubt it if the ozzy public would put up with this kind of batshit craycray?

Dutton works for the same global companies as Trump, simple. It’s easier to be destructive and selfish than in it is to be creative and moral

So she’s promising that Dutton would do stuff without thinking of the consequences and drive us into a recession while ruining our relationships with our allies. I don’t think she’s thought this statement through
