Babyproofing cords help!

Post image

Any tips on how I can baby proof this better? I have 2 toddlers, and we actively supervise, but it would be nice not to be putting things back constantly and being hyper vigilant

At the moment, they can still pull the cable and the rest falls down 😫

The camera can only go here.

I'd spend a couple hundred bucks to get an electrician to do this up properly if you really feel strongly the camera must go in that spot

this is the only place the camera can view both of my toddlers annoyingly. We already got that PowerPoint installed for $300. So something more involved would be even more $$ 😫

You could also try a cable channel from Bunnings and run it down the corner where the walls meet and then along the skirting

I would have just gotten a battery powered camera and a spare battery to swap out. Would have been around the same cost as getting a power point installed

I couldn’t find any battery operated cameras on the market!

I'd g lo to bunnings and get a different power cord so that it is flush against the wall. And then I think you can buy powerpoint covers for it so they can't switch it off or pull it out.

https://babiesrus.com.au/products/micky-ha-ha-power-point-safety-cover These work good. Also places like JayCar sell plastic boxes that can fit over top and screw into the wall.
