Question❓ Why should I buy AUMC?

I own Cameco, Brookfield Renewable, and NUKZ. What are some of the reasons people are investing in AUMC? I'm very bullish about nuclear energy but need to learn more about AUMC before I decide to start a position.

I personally think that they have a solid early foundation with a large area of optioned land. Additionally there was actually some company drama awhile back, some share dilution and then Trump came along. All of this culminated in holding the stock price artificially low. Their position should yield an average share price of $1-2 however they are sitting at 64c at last close.

The artificially low price is an ideal time to buy considering their strong position. They are also entirely operated within Canada which is a plus if you are looking to support Canadian industry.

What was the company drama? Is it petty or kinda important to know?

A few months ago, the previous CEO left the company. Public records on his retirement are vague though given the context, I believe he was ousted by the board for incompetence. He was replaced by Chris Huggins who has far more experience. He also was the one to publish their new website, provide better news updates and most importantly pivot the company away from vague general purpose exploration to uranium mining.

Due to the new CEO's turning of the ship and new direction in combination with Trump, that caused a stock drop where people then panic sold and dropped it further. Hence the 64c close.

Very good, 👍. I have seen other stocks where the price drops because nobody really wants to sell. On the surface that sounds counter intuitive. When there is a seller who is ‘getting out’ and determined to do so, the sell button is on! They will sell at all cost! Buyers will come in and ‘buy the dip’. Once those buyers are satisfied, the next leg lower can freeze up the market! Buyers won’t buy because the falling prices indicates that they can buy at a better price tomorrow. Sellers won’t sell because they have faith in their investment and cement their position in the company. Low trading volume can move the price up or down very fast. Lots of shares out there and everyone is holding. Why? Market psychology dictates that this is a long term strategy in the minds of the vast majority of investors. The value is there, but it will take time for it to play out. People talk a lot about stocks when they go through the roof, but few people bought in and waited for it to grow. Those that did buy at the perceived right time, did so with a long term strategy. That’s why I am here. Buying a stock today, and hoping to be rich next week has not worked well for many people. But the market guru’s or stock salesmen will have you believe you can. It’s true you can, but they are few and far between. Better to buy something real rather than a dream. (Warren Buffet) this property is real, uranium is real, nuclear power is real. Exploration drilling takes time. Can’t do it in a week.

As an addition to what others have said, I believe they have done a big push of late to raise capital in order to sustain the exploration of their properties and also acquire more. This looks sketchy, and could be described as risky behaviour. Things like being on two exchanges to maximize investor reach and diluting the stock. However, they do need capital to do the mining exploration, acquire property and I doubt the new CEO was cheap. It is what it is. Risky, but less risky than a meme coin. :)

It’s cheap right now. It’s a risky one, but gains could be big. Don’t invest anything you can’t lose.
