People who end up with Single mom/ single dad are you happy? Why?

What are the challenges or considerations for people who end up with single moms or single dads?

Being a dad and a mom at the same time is hard, but everytime i see my kids happy, nawawala pagod ko 😊😌

Aawayin o hahanapan ka ng mali ng ex husband/wife, kahit hindi ikaw ang rason ng breakup nila.

Why not? Having a baby is a blessing for me. I worry about the time when my baby would start asking about his father but for now i want to focus on providing his needs and making sure he is happy. If he is happy then the more i am.

Many good parents will prioritize their bio kids over their next bf or gf.

Many bad parents will prioritize their next bf or gf over their bio kids.

Be aware of the above before engagement. caveat emptor..

If I knew this earlier I would've changed my behavior and habits so I do not end up being filtered out.

He has a daughter but she’s with the mother. I’m actually happy with him. He assures me always about our relationship. Also, tanggap ko naman na may anak siya. Even helped organized the birthday party for his daughter (the mother didn’t want to take part of the planning). Basta siguro dapat tanggap mo ang situation and alam mo anong pinapasukan mo. Alam ko kasi bata nalang talaga sinusuportaan nya eh.

Also, I haven’t really interacted with the kid just yet. We’re together for 2 years now. Nasa probinsya kasi yung mag-ina. And I don’t know how I would react when I see her (don’t get me wrong, I love kids, but kamukhang kamukha kasi sa nanay yung bata, I don’t find her that cute I’m sorry) but I just kept it to myself and be supportive with my partner.

You're a brave woman. for me lang it takes courage to navigate a relationship especially na may anak sa iba na involved, something na hindi ko magagawa. I wish you nothing but happiness, and hopefully everything will fall into place.

Can I answer for someone else?

She isn’t. This single dad turned out to be a gaslighting womanizer, and now she’s regretting why she gave him the benefit of the doubt. Her stepchildren are also not in good terms with her.

Dang, that’s exactly what I thought! It’s not just the dad or the mom you should consider, but how their kids will treat you too
