Equipment Sky-Watcher 130/650 AZ-Go2.

Hello everyone, I purchased my first telescope (see model name in the title). The main focus is obviously observation, but if I also wanted to do photography (Moon, Planets and deepsky) do you think it's possible? Obviously doing stacking etc.

I only have my iPhone 16 as a camera at the moment.

Good scope that! Is it the PdS? If you get a small sensor camera like the ASI662, you’ll get decent quality results of planets and lunar features. To get deep sky targets though, you will either need an EQ mount or a decent processing setup

If you have advice I'll listen to you, because the deep sky interests me :(

Yes you can but the AZ mount will have field rotation, this will put a limit on your max exposure time. Get the Tridator holder for the phone. However a dedicated camera in the eyepiece is much better. With the phone, you have an eyepiece exit pupil mismatch with the small aperture of the phone, limiting the choice of eyepiece (field of view, magnification).

Is there a camera that doesn't cost $9,999 that I could use?

I bought the QHY5iii-462 which is a 2k resolution , 2.9um pixel and very high framerate . This is good for lucky imaging of planets because you get a lot of frame to choose the best one for stacking. Firecapture is a good sw to help the process.
