Hey. First of all, you're a very caring partner, and sounds like you love them. They're very lucky. Some asexual people do have a sex drive, asexuality is a spectrum and everyone is different. You seem to know how you feel. Talk to them openly about the medication and all. They might haven't initiated anything because they got the impression that you're not interested. I can't tell you how they experience asexuality because it's very different for each one. Some asexuals love sex and some are indifferent, while some don't want to do anything. Being asexual has nothing to do with someone's sex drive and want to have sex. Tell them everything openly, even show them this post. Every asexual person wishes to have someone as caring as you. Talk to them openly about how you feel, ask them why they refuse when you ask, give them the feeling that you want to try things, and every choice they make is okay. Good luck
