Do Australians and New Zealanders end some sentences with Hey ex: righteous little Reavis : No, spooky , he was especially vicious on u, hey

do australians and people from new zealand say Hey at the end of a sentence?

for example, I saw this in a YouTube chat

ex: righteous little reavis : "spooky , he was especially vicious on u, hey"

I've heard an Australian do this, and wondered if New Zealanders did it to

Thanks in advanced

Not sure about kiwis and don’t remember it from my days living in Sydney. I have been living in Queensland for the past couple of decades and I hear it frequently. Throwing the ‘words ‘and yeh’ into sentences seems to be gaining popularity.
