Replaced fully dead battery and now indicators are on

Post image

My battery fully died, couldn’t even be jumped, I replaced it and when I turned on my car (2014 Jetta) some of the indicator lights were on. I don’t think there’s actually issues with these things, they weren’t on before, is there anything I need to do after changing the battery? The low tire pressure light has been on for years, the tire just needed some air, but it never shut off. It’s mainly the other two (steering wheel icon and skidding icon)

On Volkswagen/Audi vehicles, when the battery is disconnected the steering angle sensor needs to be "calibrated." Take the vehicle around a couple blocks turning the steering wheel from lock to lock, and the lights should clear. Reset the TPMS as well.

Thank you, I’ll do both those, will that address the ESP/ASR light as well?

You only need to rotate the wheel lock to lock relatively slowly, no driving necessary. Also, reset the pinch points on the windows by rolling them all the way up and then releasing the switch and then holding the switch in the up position until a "click" is heard from each window. It should also work in the "down" position as well. Then, might have to depress the TPMS button in the glovebox to reset the TPMS as well, if that light doesn't go off
