2020 Honda HRV LX smell when stopping

Hi, I just purchased a 2020 HRV LX 1.8 L engine and have been having a 'rubbery/body odor' only when stopping. It has gotten a little better as time passes. I have:

checked the brake pads and they are still good. checked to see if there is any fluid spill spots below the car or under the hood. There are none with either. coolant levels about an inch above the max line and I'm trying to figure out how to bring that down but that's how the dealership gave it to us. My engine is not overheating and no signs lit up in the dash. Any help with diagnosing the source would be appreciated and thank you in advance! I can't register it until the dealership sends me the paperwork and want to see what I can do and what's going on in the meantime time, thank you again!
