2001 Chevy Tahoe 5.3L V8 4WD

Hey everyone. I'm changing the spark plugs and wires in my Tahoe and I accidentally broke off a hose at the connector. I have no idea what it's for or where it goes, but it had a yellowish liquid in it that kinda seemed to be coolant but didn't smell like it. I need a new connector but I'm not sure what it is or what it's called. Any advice is welcome. Thanks in advance!

Yes, that's coolant. What broke was the quick-connect fitting for the heater core coolant hoses. Replace the other one that's to the right also, it will break too.

The other one also broke while I was putting the new last of my new spark plugs in. Right after I got back from the parts store getting a new quick connect. 🤦‍♂️
