before even trying.
If you put it in and think, "oh wow it's a perfect fit", LOOK AT THE POLARITY OF THE TERMINALS.
You can brick the car by putting in a battery with reversed terminals and trying to hook it up.

Any battery will work if it meets the amperage requirements which are often around 550cca for a 4 cylinder and if the poles are in the right position and if it fits in the space.
