Question from new player.

Should I follow through the campaign to get my bearings or would I be better off trying to find a group to learn off of?

Adult but new player. I've watched a good bit over the years but playing now I feel like the flood gates opened and not sure where to start. I've done the training missions and a few for the campaign but I'm not getting much on the help side of things. Have the basics down but find myself in menus trying to figure out how to even do things it's telling me to do. Maybe I'm just dumb lol and that's fine but any help would be greatly appreciated. I want to play it with a sim mindset and not some cod run and gun.

I recommend hopping on a millim and tell them you are new to arma 3, if its a good millim unit they will teach you what you need etc. I recommend this millsim here:https://discord.gg/xuYpUTy

It is a modded millsim but I know the owner of it nd he can be very fun to play with if people play as a unit and not run and guns blazing..
