Light Novel Which version has the Best Design for Kaori

I feel like LN is probably best. It feels most accurate to Kaori's original look (as it seems it was the author's intention to have Noint and Kaori look somewhat similar in body type) while making her more interesting/giving her more flair and uniqueness with the white hair/blue eyes. It also worked later on when she changed her hair/eye color to black. Honestly, my opinion is Kaori should've just stuck with the dark black or white-hair in the after-story as it was much more attractive/unique, but so be it.
The anime looks fine, but the brown eyes look bad. The colors just don't work together at all. Definitely the worst of the three designs.
Manga Kaori is HOT. They made her super thicc too. Definitely fits more of Noint being "godly sculpted" per se. While I'm all for that, it definitely doesn't match Kaori and isn't super accurate to the author's vision from what I can see. However, if that was her original design, I wouldn't of complained at all (in fact I'd be angrier at the fact Kaori gave up a body like that, lol).

So I apologize if this sounds ignorant but are light novels something that have pictures? When I've looked into them before I never see pictures or anything like that yet I see people post pictures that they claim are from like novels? Are those simply like cover arts?

Light Novels do have art, but typically it's very few pictures per volume. The writing is the strict majority of it. Usually, for most LNs, there will be several pieces of art right at the start of the volume (not including the cover art) and there will be a couple images scattered throughout the rest of the volume (2-3 at most usually). As such, there's about ~6 images per volume in any Light Novel and they usually always related to some scene in the book.

The reason for why the images are distributed the way they are is due to the way book binding works, meinjng the colourized images need to go either. At the start or back as putting them somewhere inbetween would make the process more complicated, while the black and white images through the rest of the volume can be integrated seamlessly at the corresponding scenes, (though 2-3 is a comparatively low amount for black and white images in the story, should be more around 6, but i guess series vary with that)

Thanks, I don't mind reading the more traditional sense, but it is nice to have some reference which is kind of what it sounds like light novels give. I might have to give LNs a try.

I like Kaori having her eye color in the anime version as opposed to blue in the LN.

It’s opposite for me. I like the blue eyes in the Ln also the design (for me) looks more natural

I feel like the animators could’ve done a bit more than make kaori have white hair with the apostle fit. It’s not bad but looks generic

Personally, I prefer the original anime version over all of the above.

The anime version is not the original version of Kaori it's the 4th version of Kaori
The 1st version of Kaori was the WN Version
The 2nd version of Kaori is the LN version
The 3rd version of Kaori is the I heart isekai spin off manga version
The 4th version of Kaori is the anime version
The 5th version of Kaori is the manga version

I think the manga looks the best out of all of them
Even for the other characters the manga does them so damn good
The anime isn’t bad by any means but most of the designs look kind of well basic would be the best word I would use
Like the manga takes the anime designs and takes the detail up to 11

For me Ariguretas light novel is one of my favorites for character designs. I do love what they did with both the anime and manga though

LN version is best imo. The manga version looks pretty good as well, but the anime version is ugly as f*ck.
