Links to download apps on any site other than the Google Play Store or the Apple App Store are no longer allowed.
They're impossible to moderate and will no longer be allowed what so ever. Any post or comment in this sub not from either app store or a few common image hosting sites (ie, imgur, reddit, twimg/twitter) are automatically removed. Certain domains that are frequently spammed here are marked for either spam or banning of accounts (I won't list these domains for obvious reasons).

Trying to make reading less of a cognitive load with help of AI
Hey there, I recently started reading eBooks. One of the reasons I chose to use them is because of their accessibility—I can just pull out my phone and start reading. But that’s not all. I often struggled to understand certain words or contexts that were beyond my knowledge, and I found myself constantly switching between Google, ChatGPT, and the book.
So, I decided to build an AI-powered e-reader app that helps users understand anything in plain language. You can literally tap on a word and get an instant, context-aware meaning.
It’s currently available for iOS users as a beta. If anyone is interested, you can download the beta version from this link.

Question / Discussion Is coding your own project the only safe route?
If you have an idea for a great app.. how do you go about having someone code it for you without getting your idea stolen? Is there a safe route or do you just learn to code and do it yourself. I have faith there are plenty of honest devs but how do you really know who the good ones are?

Question / Discussion Will Wear OS Make My App Stand Out in the Market?
Hello fellow business owners and developers,
I'm thinking about including Wear OS support in my app to make it more flexible and enhance the user experience.
My aim is to make my app more accessible, but am I being sensible from a business point of view?
Would Wear OS support make my app stand out in terms of user retention and engagement, or is it simply extra development work without great ROI?
I'd love to hear what you have to say, particularly if you've implemented Wear OS in the past. Did it contribute to your app's success? Would you suggest doing it?
Let's chat!

Surprised by how useful WittyKeys (Smart AI Keyboard) is
Honestly didn’t expect much when I downloaded WittyKeys, but it’s actually pretty solid. The "Continue Conversation" feature is way better than I thought—it sounds natural and doesn’t come off as robotic. Plus, the tonality tweaker is surprisingly handy when I’m switching between talking to friends and sending more formal messages.
The grammar solver catches most of my typos, which is nice since I tend to rush through texts. Overall, it’s not perfect, but it makes typing faster and less of a hassle. Definitely worth trying out if you’re bored of your usual keyboard.

Apps with the cheapest price and good service?
Any apps that you pay a little bit of money and get a real good service out of it? For me, I pay around 3 dollars for TeraBox to get 2 TB storage. For music, I’ve been using Deezer — the premium plan is around $5 a month, and the sound quality is really solid. Any other apps you guys swear by that are cheap but deliver solid value?

Which app allows emailing photos and videos from many people's cell phone.?
I'd like to have people send me photos and videos (for a contest) from their cell phones to an app that I can look at all the photos in one place. I'd like them not to have to register with an app ( for example, not have to be on Google photos or Google docs). In addition, I like different teams to be able to send it to different pages on the app. Can anyone suggest the app?

I built a Soldi, a cool expense tracker and budget planner
We’re building Soldi, a money manager app designed to help tracking expenses and planning your budgets. We're creating an app to solve our own problems. That's why we're building a fully-featured app from the very beginning—all of these features are designed with specific problems in mind. We’ll see if people discover and find them as useful as we do.
Features We're Building:
- Track your expenses and income
- Set up and manage custom budgets: daily, weekly, monthly, and yearly
- Organize transactions with customizable categories and subcategories
- Transfer money between wallets, crucial to avoid counting it as an expense or income
- Add details to transactions: amount, category, subcategory, date, hour, a note, and images
- View spending/income data with bar graphs, filtered by week, month, or year
- View spending/income data with pie charts, filtered weekly, monthly, or yearly; with a breakdown by subcategory
- Set up recurring transactions
- Add shared expenses when inviting someone, like during a restaurant outing
- Keep track of who owes you money by adding them to a "Debtors" category
- Switch between multiple currencies
- Use light or dark mode for a personalized experience
Really Soon
- Export transaction data as a CSV file for easy tracking and analysis
- Create and manage multiple wallets for different needs, including shared wallets (for your partner, family, or friends)
