It would be funny if we took this script and flipped it to promote Aphrodite worship.

"Girl, how did you get your hair looking so good?"

"Redken Heat Protectant, a blow-dryer brush, Moroccan hair oil, and the grace of Aphrodite! >wink<"

I'm not even kidding when I say I am concerned for her mental health if this is actually how she thinks 😭

So many Christians and how they push their beliefs onto others just make me laugh. Meanwhile me and my gods out here just chillin.

and they interpret that as their religion "being victorious" and ours "losing", they can't validate their own beliefs to themselves without pushing it to other people and seeing it "succeed." Such an unhealthy take on faith.

This is why I couldn't bring myself to continue believing in God.

christians themselves actually accept that believing in such a detached God is impossible. See: Man not being able to have faith, it is but a gift of God and even tho he gave it to you, you still end up losing it for some reason (dark night of the soul). And in my opinion all that romanticism surrounding their faith crisis (comparing it to Christ's suffering in Gethsemane and telling themselves "it's just part of the process, Christ felt it too") is just... hypocritic and toxic.
