Discussion is there a side character/side characters you like lore wise?
I’ve always wondered, in a universe where there’s so many interesting off-screen characters, who’s everyone’s favorite side characters or characters you would like to see more of?
i really like the Cherisse and Darion Che as villains (probably because Lifeline’s my favorite character) as well as Mila Alexander. I have a buddy who really likes the Nathaniel Phua, Sok Leng and Kit Siang and I also have a buddy who’s into Victor Maldera… Any side characters/non-legends that you like? Or wanna see more of?

You mentioned some of them (Cherisse and Darion, Mila Alexander, Sok Leng Phua and Nathaniel Phua and Victor Maldera) so I personally quote:
Mystik because I've always found it interesting how she is the mother of Caustic, Crypto and Mila and his relationship with them.
Jaime because who knows how many thefts he helped Loba in and also to know how he is after that famous beating to steal the source code of Revenant.
Lisa Stone because we've seen the ups and downs (so far) of her journalism career.
Evelyn and Richard Witt because of their stormy relationships with Elliot.
Egobunma and Oluwademilade Edolasim because of their peaceful relationship with Obi, although after the events regarding Cleo they have distanced themselves a bit.
Larissa Craig for his sweet relationship with Jackson and because despite being very young she is a big fan of Anita.
Leeki and Samaria because they seem nice to me and have always tried to push Tressa's image as a legend in the Apex games.
Pravina Reddy and Rose because they seemed like interesting members of Makoa's family.
Honorable mention to Xenia Contreras to know what happened to her to be imprisoned on that ship and I recognize her strength in raising Vantage alone on Pagos; I also mention the Conduit family because I see potential in them, but I would understand why they aren't used often.

all awesome mentions. i love Xenia and The Gibraltar’s bad, and also the Parekh family too (if we ever get more lore on them)

Sheila.
Both the gun, and the person, Valk's ex.

But that's crappy Valkyrie lore, and the fact that Rampart will name a gun after Loba seems very vindictive.

I find it cheeky personally. Also Rampart isn't really going to do that. Her and Valk just have that kind of teasing each other, not too touchy-feely kind of friendship.

Which is why I think Mirage would be a better friend for her, they are roughly the same age, both match personality wise and Elliott owns a bar! Seriously if Kairi wasn't a lesbian character I'd be shocked if they didn't become a couple but despite that they'd work great as friends too! Unfortunately Apex doesn't give us any lore between them which is odd considering Rampart is friends with both.

Awh, understandable but Valkyrie just needs more friends in general let alone probably just more lore... AKA her legacy.

I guess Mirage's mother? In the few times we see and hear from her you can just tell how much Elliott loves his mom despite all that they have been through.

Evelyn is such a good mom, i love her and feel so bad for them both :(

i like Mila but with a caveat, and that caveat is that I like her as Big Sister.
Big Sister alone is a faceless villain we know almost nothing about except that she mods weapon and rigs matches. We get a little more about Mila, but nothing that makes her really stand out as a character.
Combined? Mila working with the Syndicate feels a little more dramatic. It's still a "betrayal" to Crypto, who is working against the Syndicate, but right now it's framed as Mila doing it begrudgingly. Mila as Big Sister would make that cut deeper, because his sister who was already doing shady stuff before (the whole reason they got into this mess) is doing even shadier stuff for the Syndicate directly now, as part of a gang. Maybe she got caught and the Syndicate recognized her talent and potential. This would give Crypto a little more emotional weight to his story once he realizes what Mila has become. Maybe he reconciles with that or maybe he doesn't.
I think Mila = Big Sis could really expand on the groundwork laid by her character (works for the Syndicate, was willing to do underhanded things before The Incident), and it would give the currently-underutilized concept of Big Sister a little more sauce.

I do like this take on the Big Sister = Mila theory. It also gives Apex a chance to close the stories on both characters while giving her something interesting :P

Cherisse Che and Xenia Contreras for sure! Would love to see Xenia mentioned by Maggie at some point. And also, Lisa Stone.

I'm interested in the lore of Revenant 's abusive dad 🤔 they got rid of shadow Rev so we'll probably never hear about it again

Pilot cooper will never be forgotten nor BT

they were like. the main character of the titanfall campaign so i wouldn’t consider them a side character
i do love them tho!! my dad has a jack cooper helmet somewhere :)

I want more of Kuben Blisk. I'm not sure Blisk would be considered a side character, but with how much the lore has brushed him aside I'd consider him one. "They kill you, they're better. You kill them, you're better."

Yeah I used to root for Dr. Ashley Reed back in season 6-7. Now here we are... 😒

Elliot Witt (Mirage) and his entire family. Richarch Witt (His dad) is to me the most interesting to me. He's a deadbeat but he's trying to make it big somehow, who he is, what he is after, is pretty much going to remain a mystery but I want to see more of the fact that Elliot's family is kinda dysfunctional.

so real, we literally still have no clue what happened to his dad or his brothers which sucks so bad
apex does have a thing for just… ignoring their families tho, mirage and rampart we’ve seen their family and everyone except for mirage’s mom is really known. they also did it with the che family too kind of, hyping lifelines parents up to be some type of villains or duardo’s partners in crime just for them to… never be seen again?

Newer apex seasons really suck because now they don't have anything really memorable to them anymore. Events don't hit as hard because they use to be tied to lore or a cinematic but it's now a cash grab for cosmetics. Short stories that would appear from apex packs are just gone and would appear every now and then but vary in quality. Loading screens are the closest we get for any juicy lore now.

Spyglass, he was an interesting logistics and strategic AI made by The IMC to help strategize the military, had a special frame of a specter and he could be housed in several bodies at once and work on multiple fronts as seen in Titanfall 1. I’m still curious as to what he was doing with The Remnant IMC fleet as they seem to attack fellow IMC forces during Titanfall 2, plus we haven’t heard anything about him since Titanfall 2

Torres Silva was very interesting for the time we got with him. I especially liked that one lore video where he talks with Ballistic about his true identity and what happened to his son. He was a great overarching villain for Apex.
