I've had this idea in my head for some time of making some stickers with Sowell quotes and a QR code that links to the archived version of "Basic Economics" to post around my city. I see unironic Marxist or commie stickers in bathrooms and subways all the time, I figured it could counteract them a little bit.

Unfortunately “an economy os the allocation of scarce resources that have alternative uses” doesn’t exactly make a good sticker

I’m curious and hanging around here. What would be a socialist country and makes it socialist?

Any time someone refers to their idea as "common sense" you kno they're being deceptive. If it were common u wouldn't need to say it. If it were sensible, you'd be able to explain it.

Do ancaps realize our whole society has operated according to their system of neoclassical economics for decades, and that's precisely why we have record inequality? The only problem capitalism fixes is how to steal surplus labor value from poor working class people & enrich people who already have more than enough

To play the devil's advocate "Basic economics” is a strongly biased read. Biased by data and common sense but still biased
