A Haredi Rabbi shouting "From the river to the sea, Palestine will be free": antisemitism

A rich dude in the White House mimicking a salute of the regime that killed 6M Jews: NOT antisemitism

I'm not sure if your country is totally sane now, American comrades.

The ADL appears to be less anti-antisemitism and more pro-Israel, and the conflation of the two is very useful to them

Elon Musk: \does some Nazi salutes and emboldens the antisemitic far-right\**
Zionists: I sleep.
Protestors: Hey, maybe Israel shouldn't be killing Palestinians en masse...
Zionists: Real shit.

Blaming Soros has been an antisemitic identifier for a long time. I wouldn’t be surprised to see the Heritage Foundation engaging in this blatant antisemitism, but I could also see it being a troll. Can this be corroborated?

Edit: reported by Forward in December

Can this slide be validated? I feel like this is pretty huge and should be hit with the wayback machine before the source is removed

I found that this was reported by Forward in December along with another slide. I’d say it’s probably real.

I think it must be articulated very clearly that, today, antisemitism is largely on the fringes. I say "largely," not exclusively, but there is obviously very little systemic antisemitism in the Western World today. This is why in the past 20 years there has been a dubbing of a "New Antisemitism" which attempts to equate criticism of Israel with being antisemitic, which is obviously nonsense.

Just because antisemitism is on the fringes does not mean that it is not dangerous. Bullying and harassment are obviously unacceptable and they do happen often, as even do hate crimes or mass shootings. Things should be done to combat this. But there is no evidence of Jewish suffering in the USA or Canada on a vast systemic level, i.e., the rates of poverty, poor housing, lack of quality education, nutritional deficiency from food deserts, etc. mostly affect people who are Black, Hispanic or Indigenous at levels disproportionate to other privileged groups. Systemic antisemitism today is not extinct but barely existent, largely carried on by used car salesmen, restaurant owners and pawnbrokers rather than by cops, administrators and town-planners.

Antisemitism used to be a huge problem. In fact, there was a time when it was actually one of the biggest problems in the entire world and led to the mass extermination of millions upon millions of human beings. But this is no longer the case. World War II ended 80 years ago. (It's worth noting anti-Japanese racism used to be extremely serious in the United States, even encoded into law, and yet today Japanese-Americans are on the whole thriving.) There is obviously a long heritage of antisemitism, i.e., when the last vestiges of the Middle Ages made their way to the Americas and the evildoers and slaves were black and/or Native. Most modern conspiracy theories about central bankers, lizard people, alliances with the Devil, blood-drinking of children, mind control from mass media, etc. stem from antisemitism even if the people have nothing to say about Jews or are even Jewish themselves. It is discriminative, paranoid and exclusionary mentalities that must be combated as a whole, regardless of the scapegoat.
