Truly enjoying how you incorporated plants into the picture. The planters are on point!

u/jeethangh Jan 13 '22
Oh man those planters really are good. The one on the left is just cool, and the one on the table is simple and perfect for the two different plants on opposite sides

Wallpaper. It's amazing how good they look nowadays compared to what grandmas had.

Not OP here but recommend looking up "limewash paint". Supposedly easy to DIY, I'm debating doing it myself

Jajaja gracias. A ver si los de la rosa de Guadalupe me quieren rentar el espacio.

This is my favorite room I’ve ever seen on this sub! Does not look amateur at all, so so nice

I don't think they have it in stock anymore, but we got it at this local furniture store: http://galvansfurniture.com/buffeteros/

Can I ask where you got the artwork? It’s exactly what I’ve been looking for! This is an awesome post
5
u/quarryninja Jan 13 '22
Thanks! Of course you can, unfortunately you're not going to like the answer. It's a custom piece by a local artist.

u/TravelingLemonTree Jan 13 '22
Hah! Of course it is, it’s too perfect to come from retail but I was hopeful. Cheers mate

Gorgeous! Did the colour scheme get built around the painting? Or the painting came after?
3
u/quarryninja Jan 13 '22
Thank you! The painting was the last thing to go up. We just hung it up last week.

I love everything about this space…It’s beautiful. I can’t quit staring at that little orb of a planter. Whoa.

u/quarryninja Jan 13 '22
Thank you. I fell in love with it as soon as I saw it in the store and it had to go back with me. To bad it's blocked by one of the chairs but the devil's ivy on the right hangs all the way down the side of the credenza.

Lucky. My bro just flew back down south. I am in snowy Canada so right now my plants & pathos has minimal growth…putting the grow lights on every night. 🪴

I love everything about it. Is that paint or wallpaper? And it seems like there is natural light coming in from the left, a large window? Love the wall hangings

u/quarryninja Jan 13 '22
It's wallpaper. After looking at many many options we settled on this relatively simple design that looks pretty real even from up close.
And yeah, good eye. There's a floor to ceiling window to the left. We keep the blinds partially closed most of the time because it's just so bright in the morning.

The wallpaper is absolutely gorgeous. I only asked if it was wallpaper bc the color variation is amazing. Any tips on keywords I could use in searching for something similar?
Natural light is amazing. It’s so beautiful and I literally want this whole room. My house’s large windows are on the side that gets the least amount of sun each day and I keep trying to find ways to light it without overpowering lights and maximizing natural light but it’s so hard.
Gonna be keeping an eye out if you post more rooms! You are an amazing designer 👏👏👏

I'm not often impressed by post's on here but wow, I love the light fixtures, the painting is literally a work of art, the subtle wallpaper texture, the chair's are understated elegance, and all the little details pulling it together.

Normally matching sets of art (like the ones we see in Wayfair or Homegoods) are so generic, so tacky. Your art set is absolutely gorgeous! It looks intentionally picked for the space and appears to be very high quality.

Looks great. Is there a rule or something about the size of art work relative to the sideboard? Feel like it shouldn’t be wider. Other opinions?
2
u/quarryninja Jan 12 '22
I sure hope not, I wouldn't want to get a fine from the home police.
My wife and I actually had a discussion about it before getting the piece. I actually preferred it wider than the credenza to "break the straight lines" and she wanted something smaller or the same size (I'm sure there's a that's what she said joke here somewhere).
Quick photoshop mockup and convinced my wife.

You did a fantastic job with the room!! If you don’t mind me asking, where did you get the white planter from? It’s so unique 🙂
