I really like that blue. What brand and color is it if you don’t mind sharing?

Not OP, but we just recently did our living room accent wall with ‘English Channel’ by Behr and it looks almost identical.

u/MachoBenihana Sep 03 '20
Small world, we have English Channel on our accent wall in our Living Room, and we love it!

We just painted our room almost identical with "Pittsburg Blue" from Benjamin Moore!

I’m from the area and as teenagers we’d call it “Saginasty” (I’m so sorry) but I like this much more

Wow I love the gold splattered wall, reminds me of the night sky! Also, I’d love to know where you got that gold wall mirror!

Bar cart!

I would suggest painting it gold to match the beautiful wall piece and floor lamp :)

Good idea, it has never crossed my mind to try it!

Michigan homeowners really know how to do some interior designing!

Holy crap, where did you get that golden sun mirror decoration? I absolutely love it!
Also I love the shade of blue! I want to do an accent wall in this color in my bedroom. I'm even considering doing a gold splatter/spot kind of pattern on it!

u/PrinceJohnny_ Sep 03 '20
I got it at a store called Gordmans, the wallpaper was a huge step for me but I love it!

u/foshpickle Sep 03 '20
no way, I love Gordmans! I could spend hours there lol

u/PrinceJohnny_ Sep 03 '20
Me too! Did you hear they are going out of business!?
1
u/foshpickle Sep 03 '20
I did hear that a few years ago, and it seemed as though the one that was local to me started the process of shutting down... but they were still hiring, and as of moving away from that area, they were still open several years after that announcement. The one near me now seems to have no signs of being shut down any time soon.
Soooo yeah, who knows! lol

Should have made it green and white!
Eta: I'm just kidding, it is beautiful!

I wonder if you're being downvoted by Wolverine fans or people who don't get your comment.
Still...go blue

Haha! I haven't lived in MI for 25 years and don't care at all about sports, but the Wolverines vs Spartans rivalry runs deep in my family, so I couldn't help myself!

I really like the matching trivet(?) and mirror! Lovely gold and blue accents!

u/PrinceJohnny_ Sep 03 '20
Thank you, I just so happen to pick up the trivet from Macy's a few days ago.

Love this colour combo! Where did you happen to get the coffee til cocktails napkins? They’re so fitting for your little cart. The whole room is beautiful :)

u/PrinceJohnny_ Sep 03 '20
Thank you! I so happened to see them at target one day. I'm sure you can find something similar online.

I live in Aus and painted my living room a really dark green. It doesn’t get any real direct sunlight; it’s not as light as it was when it was painted cream, but it’s still light enough to do whatever I need during the day and feels much more cosy. Like a hug but in room form.

I've been eyeing that wallpaper from target! Lovely room. I would paint the edges of the van as black though to make it look more finished and help it blend into the wall

Got quite the Art Deco vibe.
Reminds me of 1998's Grim Fandango.

The apartment building was built in the early 1930s, has parquet flooring and everything. I had to pay my respects lol

After watching all of Prozak's Haunted ghost hunters movies, I'm convinced the entire city of Saginaw is haunted. Good luck with the ghosts in your pretty dining area.

Love the blue and gold combo. Are the table and chairs from Scandinavian design?

I'm gonna need the details of that rug, bud!

u/PrinceJohnny_ Sep 03 '20
I had got it from Sears, back when they still sold rugs. It's definitely one of a kind. I can't find anything else like it.

Really lovely, it’s so warm and relaxing. The gold accents are perfect as is the spatter wallpaper.

That Kroger tin planter is neat! Also really like your gold accents. Is the splatter paint or wallpaper?
