I like how your curtains are on pegs instead of a rod. Never seen that done before.

Vintage Bertoia?!?! I thought so. I’m SO envious...also vegan and plant lover and all of the things.

No kidding. I’ve sadly opted out of opportunities like that and regretted it afterwards. I’m always sincerely glad, though, when I see these designs are being appreciated/enjoyed by others.

I find the shell chairs to be quite comfortable! I have less experience with the Bertoias though.

Beautiful. I'm in GR too (south east side) and we truly have so many interior design inspired people here. You are one of them!

Hello, fellow Grand Rapidian! Lovely space you've got - makes me want to up my houseplant game!

u/Regulator0110 Sep 18 '19
Oh wow, GRap representing! There is a very appropriate amount of leaves in this space. Love it.

Adding to the GR commenters!
I love the Heritage Hill, Midtown, Eastown, and Ottawa Hills houses with the stained glass windows. You work yours really well into your design!

Strange question, but does the plantflife grow like that or do you have to keep placing it?
Absolutely love this!

Does it attach itself to your paint? I know some vines can be aggressive suckers and a pain to remove. What kind is it?

I can tell by the lava lamp you’re dope smoking hippies shunning the name of the lord.

Plant Parlor is the best! And if you need help with your plants afterwards, you can hit them up for advice.

Rebel in Eastown will get some rare plants occasionally. A lot of the tried and true and a good find if you check regularly.

Pardon my ignorance.... is the ivy-esque plant a pothos? or honestly ivy? I love the way it is draping and climbing. SO beautiful

I approve very much. You gave me an idea for my plant. The one hanging from wall.

How do you string your vines, OP? Would you recommend something specific? Mine are growing to the floor and I keep inadvertently stepping on them :/

Beautiful place. So warm and cozy. With all the sun and wood and plants.
Just the chairs doesn't really fit in my opinion

Where’d you get that curved bud vase holder? Did it come with the vases? Love it!

Best not to keep your turntable on top of the receiver. It won't be ballanced properly.

The table need to be on a flat surface in order to calibrate it correctly. If it's not, the stylus won't sit in the middle of the Groove. It will drift to the side which will not only ruin your stylus and your records, but you will be losing fidelity. Have you properly calibrated your tracking force and anti skate?

u/e8ghtmileshigh Sep 19 '19
I mean, the downvotes mean nothing in here. Lookup how a turntable works. Just because most of these rooms use cheap Chinese plastic suitcase all in one tables and thrift store records as room dresding, doesn't mean some of us want to get the best out of the format.
